Volunteer Committees

Committees offer community members a chance to be involved with the Board and assist on decision-making. Often times, committees are useful for gathering information, making policy recommendations, suggesting solutions to ongoing problems or challenges, and representing the opinions of the community at large. Additionally, they benefit the Association through furthering involvement of individuals in the community, inspiring the use of resident’s special talents for the greater good, and serving as a training ground for those who may be interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors in the future. These committees will act as the Liaisons between Homeowners and Board Members.

Landscape Committee

• Creating recommendations for the Board, who then makes the final decision on landscaping improvements within the community.

• Communicating with representatives from the community’s landscape maintenance provider.

• Inspecting the work performed by the community’s landscape maintenance provider.

• Suggesting additions and amendments to the community’s landscape maintenance program.

• Evaluating RFP responses, checking references, and conducting contractor interviews when selecting a new or additional landscape providers for the community.

• Providing summary updates to the Board on landscaping and grounds maintenance issues.

Issues and Actions Committee (IACC)

• The IAAC is a volunteer committee set up to receive and to resolve issues from either homeowners, other HOA committees or from individual Board members themselves. It has no decision-making capability and acts solely in an advisory capacity ("liaison") to the Board and reports its findings and recommendations to the HOA Board. The Board may ask the IAAC to implement any and all approved recommendations.

• In essence, the IAAC acts as a facilitator, advocate and/or expediter. It can coordinate with other committees to enhance and support their efforts in finding resolutions. The IAAC is the repository for such an issue to be heard and to ultimately be resolved, if possible.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

• Reviewing architectural issues in the community as set forth in the Declaration, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations and then in collaboration with the Board, make the final decision on those issues.

• Overseeing the guidelines of the Associations policies and procedures for alterations, modifications and improvements to an owner’s exterior property and common areas of the community in order to maintain aesthetic standards within the community and to preserve property values.

Technology Committee

A group of “Tech Savvy” volunteers who are willing to assist, trouble shoot and perform repairs or maintenance to anything technical such as the Community Website, the operation of the Front Call Box and the Security Cameras.

Social Committee

The purpose of this committee is to foster a cohesive community by organizing interesting events for the entire community so neighbors can meet and socialize with each other.

Toolbox Committee

This committee is for anyone with handyman/woman skills such as painting/cleaning, minor repairs, replacing light bulbs and small projects within the community that can not only add value to our community but also save money by doing it ourselves.

Our Board of Directors

The Board of Directors are responsible for overseeing the daily functions and financial responsibilities of the Association and maintaining members’ compliance with the established rules and regulations.
